However, I personally think 8GB of RAM is overkill, in fact 4GB seems to be plenty for most games. So I'd suggest going with the "standard" XPS 8300 with the 6770 for $779 and saving yourself another $40.
Although, I'm partial to the Nvidia cards after buying a Radeon 6870 as my most recent video card though. AMD's video cards perform well for the money and run cooler/consume less power than Nvidia's cards, but Nvidia's video drivers are better than AMD's. Additionally, Nvidia's PhysX software enables more detail in games that support it such as Batman Arkham City. There's a video demo link in the sources I listed.

Both of them are really great games, but totally different.
It depends on what you're in the mood for, really. Skyrim will last you a very long time. I read that there's an estimated 600 hours of gameplay if you do all that is available, and that seems accurate, as I'm 125 hours in and still have so many things that I want to accomplish, and have only gotten 43% of the trophies. It's completely open, there are tons of different things to do. You can load in every day for weeks and do something totally different, so if you get tired of working on one thing, you can just do something else.
Arkham is a LOT shorter, but it's incredibly fun. I love the little Riddler challenges. I also adore the boss fights in that game, they're interesting and usually involve strategy. It's definitely worth playing. But, if you're looking for something that is going to last you a long time and has a high replay value, then go for Skyrim.

Both of them are really great games, but totally different.
It depends on what you're in the mood for, really. Skyrim will last you a very long time. I read that there's an estimated 600 hours of gameplay if you do all that is available, and that seems accurate, as I'm 125 hours in and still have so many things that I want to accomplish, and have only gotten 43% of the trophies. It's completely open, there are tons of different things to do. You can load in every day for weeks and do something totally different, so if you get tired of working on one thing, you can just do something else.
Arkham is a LOT shorter, but it's incredibly fun. I love the little Riddler challenges. I also adore the boss fights in that game, they're interesting and usually involve strategy. It's definitely worth playing. But, if you're looking for something that is going to last you a long time and has a high replay value, then go for Skyrim.

I saw in stores and in a commercial if you get it at walmart you get arkham city and arkham asylum. I bought Batman Arkham City and I wanted to get the catwoman dlc. Is there somewhere I can download it or buy it? And yes I mean this seriously, because I felt that the path in Asylum was way to strict. Now I'm playing Arkham City, and I could not be more relieved to see how near perfect it is by comparison. im not sure if you can play as robin in the free roam b ut you can do it in the challange maps just go to the ridler challanges in the main menu. And to play as cat woman just go to a character switch point its like 3 cats on a room theres 2 or three around the city. Ik one if in jokers fun land and anothers by mr. freezes place hope i helps

This reviewer http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2011/鈥?/a> was apparently unaware of the issues but as you can see in the previous link it wasn't that his system was necessarily even close to weak it was that the game needs a patch. How good the game looks is completely dependent on your CPU, Monitor/resolution and GPU. If you have his system or my system( with a better monitor after the holidays ) it obliterates the console gfx. Suffice to say the anti-aliasing that is used with the PS3 is poor and blurs the edges as opposed to actually fixing them and the XBOX 360 is only slightly better than that in the AA area. with 1920x1080 and 32x CSAA with all the options maxed out you, excluding DX11 and tessellation are in for one he** of a ride and sweet gfx experience. When the DX11 is fixed it may just bring you to tears.
With my system below I have them all maxed out except for DX11 and tess. with 32x CSAA but my monitor's native resolution is only 1280x1024 but that will soon change.

I think You can't all DLC for ps3 are installed automatically, just like an update for your software. One solution I think?. is go to game folder and delete the game file. in that case your game will be back to it's default version.

I think You can't all DLC for ps3 are installed automatically, just like an update for your software. One solution I think?. is go to game folder and delete the game file. in that case your game will be back to it's default version.

Yeah overall the HUSH side mission is annoying you have to pinpoint dead bodies and if you dont know where to look it is seemingly impossible. How do you activate the Riddler's challenges in Batman: Arkham City?
Okay, a bit of a silly question here, please forgive me. I just got Batman: Arkham City, and am about 10 minutes into it. I have a problem, I can`t seem to open the Riddler`s challenge clues, the ones that are spread out all over Arkham City. They all seem to be covered by a little cage-like thing, how do I get these clues out of the cage so I can enjoy the Riddler`s challenges? the ones in the cages are often connected to question mark buttons. if you go into detective mode you can usually follow a trail from the cage to the question marks. the question marks are the tricky parts though. they can also be opened up with those circle question mark pads on the ground. if you see these you must step on all of them without touching ground which can be done with the line launcher but some require other ways. most of those riddler trophies you cant get until you get new gadgets so it may be easier to ignore them until you beat the game.

I was thinking more about the scene where Robin (Tim Drake) stepped in and helped out Batman when he thought he was in trouble with the female ninjas in the Arkham City game . Why is there tension between them ? I know Batman is a loner , but why did he greet Robin as if he was a brat who got in his way or something ? I have been playing Batman: Arkham City, going back and trying to find the Riddler trophies. I am in the Steel Mill and I've already gone through the first Assembly Line room and am trying to get into the third one. There's a large door and when I go into detective mode it says that there's an electrical motor, but no matter how many times I fire where it says there's one it does nothing and I can't see with and without the detective mode. If you want a truly difficult game as well as being a fan of open world rpgs with very rewarding experiences get dark souls. Remember Dark Souls is NOT for everyone and should only be chosen by those who love to get a challenge. If you want a fun, comic book based, and intriguing puzzle/ action game then YES go for arum asylum.I'm only recommending you these options because it's your money on your hands not the people above me. it's just a matter of if you go back and play games that you've already beaten. maybe you've gotten all the trophies/achievements from it or maybe that's just how you play games: beat it and leave it.
if you know you won't ever play arkham asylum again, may as well get something for it.

I finished Arkham City story mode but not side missions. Only have 40% shot in the dark, 20% watcher in the wings, 30% enigma conundrum, 0% identity theft done. And right now there's nothing to do but look for riddler trophies, how do I finish these missions? Been running around forever there not coming up.How to complete side missions on Batman Arkham City?
